Trapezoidal-profile spruce panelling is one of the most common types of cladding. Similar to the grooved profile, but with a more pronounced ‘trapezoidal’ pattern visible at the joints, it therefore creates a more distinctive surface appearance. Due to its good value for money, it is a popular choice for wall and ceiling cladding in the home.

A characteristic feature of trapezoidal panelling is that the lightening of the reverse side (longitudinal grooves) can help it retain its shape better, reducing its tendency to warp. The surface can be glazed or painted as required.
