KVH beam (solid structural timber)

KVH is a modern, structurally solid timber beam, specifically developed for use in timber construction requiring precise dimensions and stability. It is typically supplied in a dried, planed and chamfered finish, and is manufactured using wedge-pin jointing to achieve the required lengths. This manufacturing process helps to ensure better dimensional stability and consistent quality.

Standardisation

The technical requirements for KVH® (finger-jointed structural timber) are set out in the EN 15497 standard, which specifies the manufacturing and performance requirements.

Applications
