Frequently Asked Questions

This is a common misconception. Far from having a shorter lifespan, modern, properly maintained wooden doors and windows often last longer than their plastic counterparts. The combination of high-quality timber, modern surface treatment technologies and precision manufacturing ensures that wooden windows and doors retain their structural stability and aesthetic value for many decades.
👉 It is no coincidence that many historic buildings still feature their original wooden windows today – even after 60–80 years.

A professionally manufactured and fitted wooden door or window has an average lifespan of 40–60 years, but with proper maintenance, this can be even longer. The lifespan is primarily influenced by the following factors:
- the quality of the timber used
- the surface treatment
- the quality of the installation
- regular, yet simple, maintenance
This offers a solution that retains its value better in the long term than most plastic alternatives.

Modern wooden doors and windows do not require complicated or frequent maintenance. Generally speaking:
- occasional cleaning
- surface inspection every few years
- surface refreshment where necessary
This does not involve annual painting or major work, just a little careful attention – in return, the natural beauty and durability of the wood are preserved.

Wood is a natural thermal insulator, making it ideal for the manufacture of energy-efficient windows and doors.
Modern wooden windows and doors:
- offer excellent thermal insulation performance
- provide effective sound insulation
- reduce heating and cooling costs
With the right glazing and precise installation, they create a comfortable, quiet interior space.

The initial investment cost of wooden windows and doors is generally higher than that of plastic ones, but this is offset in the long term by:
- a longer service life
- greater ease of repair
- higher aesthetic and property value
- a natural, timeless appearance
Wooden windows and doors are not mass-produced items, but a durable solution that adds value.

- there is no passing the buck
- there is a single point of contact
- a single party is responsible for the entire process
This provides customers with peace of mind and security in the long term.

Yes, this is one of the biggest advantages of having both manufacturing and installation carried out by a single provider:

- responsibility is clear
- installation is faster and more accurate
